The fourth Benasque RNA Bioinformatics Meeting was this year in Benasque, Spain. Researchers from around the world gathered in a beautiful pyrenees town to talk all things RNA – from new folding algorithms, bioinformatic RNA searches, RNA visualization and more. Julius gave an introductory primer on experimental RNA structure probing with lots of details on the the Weeks SHAPE method, and on new developments in the Lucks Lab in high-throughput SHAPE-Seq. It was a great experience to share research with some of THE world’s experts in computational RNA science. More info at – http://benasque.org/2012rna/cgi-bin/participants.pl.
