Kirsten wins Ryan Fellowship!

Congratulations to Kirsten Jung, a Chemical & Biological Engineering PhD candidate in the Lucks lab, for winning a Ryan Fellowship! Funded by donations from Patrick G. and Shirley W. Ryan, the Ryan Fellowship supports exceptional graduate students pursuing fundamental nanoscale science research and nanotechnology application development.

On this fellowship, Kirsten plans to work on developing point-of-care diagnostics for detecting viral pathogens such as COVID-19 using nucleic acid designs. Congratulations to Kirsten and all of the new Ryan Fellows!
